At the southeastern tip of Phuket Island (pronounced poo-get), Cape Panwa boasts spectacular views of the ocean and nearby islands, and a relatively steep drop to a gorgeous white sand beach. With coconut trees and green foliage, Cape Panwa is 300 meters long, a relatively narrow walk leading to the Phuket Aquarium. The private beach is arguably one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, and is reserved for guests of the Cape Panwa Hotel.
Jet skis and speedboats are not permitted off Cape Panwa, but visitors may rent kayaks or longtail boats and explore beaches and islands nearby, scuba dive, snorkel, sail, or take a catamaran tour. With restaurants, snack bars, and shopping an easy walk from Cape Panwa, the area is leisurely, peaceful, and romantic.
