Koh Phi Phi is a very popular island with backpackers now. It used to be a bit of a secret but since 'The Beach' hit the screens utilising a secluded bay on the island it's exploded with bars, clubs and boats. It was hit hard by the Tsunami which all but destroyed most things on the island but is now pretty much back up to full capacity. Unfortunately this has somewhat ruined the island which now feels a little bit like an 18-30's holiday island. That said, it is a great place to spend a couple days partying and swimming. Check out the snorkelling trips many of the longtail boat drivers will take you on for some great bays, cliff jumping and a pretty chilled out day. Haggle hard with them and you'll find you and a couple mates can get a boat and driver of your own for the day at around £10-£15.
