o Koh Phi Phi Leh – The main attraction of this island is beautiful Maya Bay.

o Koh Phai – Also known as Bamboo Island, Koh Phai is just to the north of Koh Phi Phi Don and has several great beaches from which to choose.

o Koh Yung – This Island has many sandy beaches located at the foot of the hills on the island, along with a stone beach and a variety of coral reefs perfect for snorkeling.

o Bid Nok and Bida Nai – The main feature of these two small islands are the sheer limestone cliffs.

Getting Around in Koh Phi Phi
The best way to get to Koh Phi Phi is by ferry from Phuket or Krabi. Once you get to Koh Phi Phi Don, you’ll find that there is no motorized transport. But in the most populated areas like Ton Sai, a ten minute walk will get just about anywhere you want to go. Taxi-boats can get you to the other islands for your day trips.

What to See while in Koh Phi Phi
There are breathtaking sites all around you in Koh Phi Phi, but here are some of the more notable things you should see.

o Viewpoint of Ton Sai Bay – For those people who can handle a steep climb, take the Viewpoint Trail to get a full view of the island of Koh Phi Phi Don. Dawn and sunset are the best time for this adventure.

o Monkey Beach – As the name implies, this beach is busy with aggressive little monkeys. It can be reached on foot or by boat.

o Yao Beach – This beach on Phi Phi Don has beautiful views and more coral reefs for ideal snorkeling conditions.

What to do in Koh Phi Phi
If you want to add some excitement to your trip to mix in with the relaxing days on the beaches, Koh Phi Phi has everything you need.

o Snorkeling – Koh Yung Island and Yao Beach on Phi Phi Don are good snorkeling spots because of the coral reefs mentioned earlier. The snorkeling off Bamboo Island is considered quite good, also. There are dive shops that sponsor snorkeling trips that take you to areas where you can see blacktip reef sharks.

o Scuba Diving – Scuba diving in the area actually offers better chances to see the local underwater beauty. Although the islands were struck by the Tsunami in 2004, fortunately the usual dive sites were not disturbed. One of the most popular diving trips takes you to the site of what’s left of a passenger ship called the King Cruiser that sunk in 1997. The ship sank when it hit the Anemone reef, which in itself, is a beautiful spot for scuba diving.

o Rock Climbing – The limestone cliffs of Koh Phi Phi provide plenty of perfect rock climbing walls.

o Fishing – Sport fishing excursions are available for those who have always wanted to reel in the big one. Marlin, barracuda, sailfish, and tuna are among the possibilities.
