aaah cactus i miss it heaps

make sure you pick up a flyer if they are still handing them out early on in the evening as you can usually get a free drink or a cheaper bucket of booze

they have fun games out the front from around 10pm fun to watch a few times

you are usually better off buying your bucket from cactus then you are getting it from a bucket stall as some of them are known to switch the smirnoff for the cheaper version. cactus is a great place to sit outside and people watch at night as you're in the middle of the beach

one tip though is unless you're a bloke and a good aim don't go anywhere near the cactus toilets upstairs unless they've renovated them in the last six months then i would go to the 10baht ones just up from cactus
